GRANUGLASS - a new generation of expanded glass
made from perlite
Granuglass is an innovative insulation material based on natural perlite, processed using expanded glass technology. In contrast to traditional recycled glass solutions (e.g. Poraver), our products are characterised by exceptional purity, low heavy metal content and thermal stability.
Several fractions of GRANUGLASS are available - from 0.1 to 0.3 mm, 0.25 to 0.5 mm
and new fractions from 0.5-1.0 mm
What is different about Granuglass?
By using a pure raw material - perlite - we create an expanded glass that:
- is lighter and more homogeneous than standard recycled glass,
- has better insulating properties,
- contains no undesirable additives (e.g. aluminium, lead, dyes),
- is produced from natural deposits, which guarantees stability and repeatability of parameters.
Granuglass applications
Our materials are used in modern construction as:
- a component for thermal insulation plasters and paints,
- a lightweight aggregate for precast and structural fillings,
- a replacement for traditional expanded perlite and perlite insulation,
- an alternative to recycled glass
Why choose Granuglass?
- Ecological - no waste glass or dyes
- Safe - natural, chemically stable
- Lighter and more temperature resistant
- Official distributor in Poland,

GRANUGLASS - the highest quality of granulate
Perlite Granuglass is a light and porous material derived from the natural mineral perlite. Perlite is a type of volcanic lava glass, and the expansion process involves heating it to a very high temperature. As a result, perlite is sintered into glass granulate, which leads to the creation of a light and porous product for various applications.

What can GRANUGLASS be used for?

GRANUGLASS

GRANUGLASS - expanded glass
is used in the construction, plastics, paints and coatings industries.
It has the following properties: glazed and closed surface, does not absorb water, high mechanical strength,
high abrasion resistance, excellent insulating properties.

GRANUGLASS – the highest quality of granulate
Perlite Granuglass is a light and porous material derived from the natural mineral perlite. Perlite is a type of volcanic lava glass, and the expansion process involves heating it to a very high temperature. As a result, the perlite is sintered into glass granulate, which leads to the creation of a light and porous product for various applications.
The perlite vitrification process involves heating it to a temperature of about 870-1100 degrees Celsius, which causes the water contained in the minerals to be converted into steam. This phenomenon causes the vitrification of Perlite into small spherical particles. As a result, a light material with a structure with micro-bubbles of air is obtained.
GRANUGLASS is used in various fields, such as construction, gardening, thermal insulation, production of lightweight concrete, and also as an additive to plasters (increases strength and thermal insulation), paints (mattifying), fillers (reduces their weight and improves thermal insulation). Its lightness, insulating properties and ability to store and move water make GRANUGLASS perlite a multifunctional material.

GRANUGLASS - ecological and environmentally neutral
One of the greatest advantages of perlite is its complete neutrality to the environment. It is a completely natural mineral, containing no harmful chemicals or toxins, which makes it safe for people, animals and plants.
Perlite is a renewable and easily accessible raw material. Its extraction does not involve a large burden on the environment, and processing into expanded perlite takes place without the use of chemicals. The process of expanding perlite itself, which involves heating it to a high temperature, is relatively energy-efficient, which additionally minimizes the impact on the environment.
